So far I have done this and it did not help:
1. Open an elevated command prompt. To do this, click Start, click All
Programs, click Accessories, right-click Command Prompt, and then click Run
as administrator. If you are prompted for an administrator password or for a
confirmation, type the password, or click Allow/Continue.
2. Type the following command, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow
(The sfc /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces
incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.)
FYI, She gets the message when trying to launch the Second Life Phoenix Viewer, however Second Lifes Viewer 2 loads without error.
I am going to perform a CHKDSK on her Lenovo as recommended in an archived thread from this forum and hopefully that will solve the issue. Can anybody think of anything else?
