Host Process for Windows has stopped working...

Hi,

I am posting on behalf of my girlfriend as the problem she is having has interfered with her Internet connection.

She keeps getting the error message "Host Process for Windows has stopped working and was closed." I have no idea what the problem is, ever since she got this she hasn't been able to access the Internet and her safe mode won't work either. My Internet works fine and we are using the same wireless router so we know the router isn't the problem.

I took a look at her event logs and read the following info;

Faulting application: svchost.exe
Version: 6.0.6001.18000
Time stamp: 0x00000000
Exception code: 0.00000005
Fault offset: 0x0001624b
Process ID: 0x1308
Application start time: 0x01cb7e88c18acb98

Can anyone help please?

This Should Restore the Hosts File

Also Could you please upload a Picture of the IP Config for the Computer which is having this Problem
