Hello Everybody, thanks for taking the time to have a look at my thread.

Basically, I am running a hp G70 laptop and it's all good apart from.. I bought some blank cd-rw discs to burn some mp3s to play in my car. This worked well, discs play well etc..
but now I have come to overwrite the discs to put something new on them, afterall they are rewritable discs. When I insert the disc into the machine, nothing pops up and the laptop doesn't think a disc is inserted. I open "computer" and look at cd drive (e) and it doesn't find the cd. then I rightclick the e drive icon and the blue circle icon spins round for a while then windows explorer crashes and have to ctrl-alt-del to get it up and running again. It only affects the windows explorer, everything else runs as normal.
It happens on all 3 discs I burnt and now want to overwrite. Am I being silly and missing something obvious or is it a fault in Vista:sa:
Please help...Ste
