I have an error in Vista that says;
{Registry Hive Recovered} Registry hive (file): 'SOFTWARE' was corrupted and it has been recovered. Some data might have been lost.
It happens whenever I log on.
Other times it just happens randomly:
{Registry Hive Recovered} Registry hive (file): '\SystemRoot\System32\Config\RegBack\SOFTWARE' was corrupted and it has been recovered. Some data might have been lost.
and
{Registry Hive Recovered} Registry hive (file): 'COMPONENTS' was corrupted and it has been recovered. Some data might have been lost.
Are other messages I have.
Does anyone know what this means? I used Event Log online, but it just took me to this page:
TechNet Events And Errors Message Center: Search Results
So far it's not made much of an impact on my computer, but I'm worried it will. The problems seemed to start after I downloaded, and then removed AVG. But I'm not sure if that is it or not.
