Solved BSOD every restart

Hi, right now I'm in Safemode because every time I reboot my Computer it gets the BSOD, and then I have to end up using System Restore. I turned off automatic reboot so I could see the error, and here it is:

This is the result of your bugcheck.

STOP 0x000000D1: DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL

Usual causes: Device driver

Can you go to C > Windows > Minidump zip up the files and upload them with your next post, you may have to save the to your desktop first.

While i am waiting for the dump file, try this.
Open a command prompt as administrator and type sfc/scannow press enter and let it scan, if errors are found you will have to scan again until clean.

Do you have a Vista disk ?, if you do follow this tutorial.

Thanks for the reply! Ok I did the scan, I got:

Verification 100% complete.
Windows Resource Protection found corrupt files but was unable to fix some of them.
Details are included in the CBS.Log windir\Logs\CBS\CBS.log.

Do I have to scan again?

I also attached the Minidump files.

Yes, keep scanning until clean.

The file causing the problem is "ecache.sys", you may be able to lift this file from the Vista disk.

If the scan does not work, this may be the way to go.

Hey, I walked away while I let it scan again and when I came back it was the Blue Screen. This time there was no ecache.sys error/line?

Should I still do what you said?

Try the scan one more time, if unsuccessful, try taking the file from the Vista CD/DVD as per the tutorial.

Also, use the Vista driver verifier to check the drivers.

Alright, it didn't crash and the scan finished and said

It confirms that the system files are in good order, which is good, will it restart without the BSOD ?.

Sorry for opening the same thread but sadly it's happening again ):

It's the same driver error. I cannot boot the computer normally, every time I just get the blue screen.

I cannot startup in safemode now either :confused:

, it shows a black screen with my cursor in the middle. I'm using another computer right now.
