Windows Live Mail 2009

Okay it is time for me to do a clean install, I have on an External drive all of my programmes that I use in a folder named 'Reinstall'.

For my email client I like WLM 2009, I have in this folder 2 apps wlsetup-all, wlsetup-web.

Wherever possible I try to test run the app, to ensure it is not corrupted.

At the moment I have SP2 and all of it's updates.

When I tried running wlsetup-all on my Vista Installation as it stands now I get an error message :-
OnCatalogResult: 0x80190194, an unknown error has occured.

Is this because I have SP2 installed or because Microsoft in it's infinite wisdom no longer support Live Essentials?

Do you already have it installed? Are you right clicking and running as administrator? Try turning off your antivirus. Try running it from the c-drive. Perhaps your copy is corrupt; try an archived copy. Note that since this is a third party website I cannot guarantee that it is virus free. Yes I have it installed on my machine at the moment, but it's time to do a clean install of the OS, it shouldn't be corrupted as I put it on my partners home built desktop, around 12 months ago.

I keep copies of all reusable programmes, such as WLM, ESET Nod32 etc. on my external drives.
