Flash in Chrome

I've noticed that Chrome is using 100% CPU when I stream play videos. Is there a way to install regular flash onto Chrome. I used to have two versions but I don't see that in my settings any longer, only PepperFlash. I tried downloading and installing flash but it doesn't show in Chrome settings.

Thanks and yes I was aware of the fix. The trouble was I only had PepperFlash (the Chrome version) listed in settings so I couldn't choose the regular flash version. However, I just installed the new adobe flash version through IE and in so doing Chrome listed regular Flash in its settings. Enabling Regular Flash seems to have lowered the CPU usage somewhat in Chrome although IE seems to use much less CPU with Flash. Waterfox seems to use less CPU as well so maybe I'm going to have to change my favorite browser.

I've read a bit about Flash and high CPU usage with all browsers and it appears that it's not an unknown or uncommon problem but that there doesn't really seem to be an good explanation or remedy for it.

I've read that too but not experienced it...yet. Mind you I prefer Firefox as my browser although I do have Chrome installed yet haven't see the high CPU usage talked about here when I've used it.
However in my case that could have been masked as I do a lot of CPU-intensive Grid Computing anyway (BOINC). As a precaution I've also disabled my PepperFlash. I noticed it was a slightly later version to the Adobe one and am wondering if Google are "doing it again" - using beta versions of software on unsuspecting users. It wouldn't be the first time. Mozilla have tried that tack too in the past, much to the chagrin of many people.

My Waterfox has pretty high CPU usage too. IE 9 seems to do the best though I don't use it. I wonder if it has something to do with my graphics card.
