I have tried to install IE9 but unable to install SP1 & Sp2 which is needed but fails each time. Asus X51 R Laptop. Vista Premium 32bit

Do you have an error code at all when it happens? This can help us determine the cause of the failed installation. How are you installing SP1 and SP2? Is it through a standalone installer or are you attempting through Windows Update?

To find the error code without having to go through the motions yet again, please do the following:
Click on Start orb and type Windows Update in your Start Search and choose from list presented.
In the left pane, click on View update history.
From the list, click on the failed update, right click and choose View details
You'll find the Error details: code within. Please post the error code for Shadowjk's viewing pleasure.
