I know this is very minor but it's bothering me and I wonder what's going on. Today's google page has a doodle of basketball that you play a game with. I was using Chrome checking out my Chrome issue, saw it and was able to play, but IE8 doesn't have the button to click to start the game. Anyone with IE8 here able to see the button and animation? Any idea why I'm not able to see and play this?
Here you can play even after today I believe and it doesn't work with IE8 either:
Yes, it sounds like a HTML5 compatibility problem Is there any reason that you haven't updated to IE9 yet? IE9 has HTML5 support and you'll be able to waste as much time on those doodles as you like (like I do!)
Thanks for replying. I haven't updated to 9 because I read that a lot people didn't like 9 or had probems with it. If I do update, should I do so through Windows Update--I've got that old IE9 update hidden right now--or another method?
