I am completely new to this so please bear with me.
I flashed my machine up this morning to do the first e-mail check of the day and to my horrow windows mail is empty! That included accounts, generated folders and all of the mail contents.
I know they were there last night (1930) as I sent mail at that time but this morning it resembles a virgin account?
Is there a way of recovering the contents of my mail account?
I have checked on Virgin Mail and within the e-mail section which conects to the same e-mail address and it shows what I believe to be all of my mail. So I believe it is still "out there" but it is just not in my windows mail account.
as an aside virgin mail, for me, is so un weildy that I would not like to use it as an everyday item.
I have reinserted my details in windowsmail and it is recieving mail again but where are all the rest??
Any help greatfully received.
Further to the information above, I tried the old style ferranti reset (of and on) and on startup my machine now displays an error message:
C:\PROGRA~1\MYWEBS~1\bar\2bin\M3PLUGIN.DLL
I am not sure if this is related but it is new today on my machine??
