Windows mail problem..possible hacking?

I have a problem with windows mail, suddenly the font has changed, not for the messages but for the program itself (pic below) its really bold and looks like courier or somwthing, and there is no longer a tab saying 'clikc here to download images'

Why would this happen, could i have been hacked?

Sometime last week i think, i remember visiting a website and the home page said you have been hacked, so i quickly exit'd that page, didn't really take much notice at the time.

Also today i checked my card account and roughly £80 has been taken from my account, im waiting for my bank to open so i can ring them about it.

Using a good firewall, have anti virus protection and use malwarebytes, use a password for wireless connections, do not open unknown email attachments, and practice caution you should be safe, but

I truly wish that I could say if you follow safe computing practices that you will not have a problem, unfortunately I cant. The net is inherent with potential danger and problems.
