Solved browser app mfc has stopped working

I'm trying to run a CD-R and it gets as far as the intro page OK, but when I click to continue the following error message comes up: 'browserApp MFC Application has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.' I have all the specs the CD-R specifies
i also cant get the macromedia flashplayer 8 to work either .............please help as i am getting very frustrated....................

Please state the update status of your system, if it is less than SP2 you need to update your windows system & download the latest Flash player: -

Try this: -

Just open Internet explore first. Now run the CD & see if that works?

We have had this issue with some OU disks & this was the answer!

hi tried that ....no luck im afraid... i have also tried changing internet options and firewall settings also no luck....i am stumped.........:confused:

If you need to keep the Macromedia flash player I am not sure what to do, as yet, otherwise try this:-

Remove the macromedia flash player & install the adobe one (Previous post has the link). Then see if that cures it.
