Solved How to delete inbox contents

I use my Gateway laptop with Vista Home Premium infrequently, mostly when traveling, and when I start it up it downloads to Windows Mail ALL the incoming emails since I last started it up. I now have over 4000 emails in the inbox and want delete the inbox contents in one fell swoop. How to do?

cursor on first mail then hit
Shift and down arrow
Then delete

May take 3 or 4 swoops
May not be able to delete all at once.

Hi,

First let the software load & then select the first mail message.

Press CTRL A (this will select all messages)

Press DEL (delete all messages)

click YES

Wait for it to finish & then your done!
