spellcheck-Windows Mail

Spellcheck is not thoroughly working. All of a sudden it stopped fixing words like "adn", which I mis type all the time. I went through tools and chaning language--didn't work? Any suggestions?--Thanks

Hello Mflaminio, and welcome to Vista Forums.

Windows Mail never did automatically correct spellling. Instead, when you manually ran spell checkingm it would give you the option to select other words to replace your word with if it thought your word was mispelled. If you like you can add words to your custom dictionary using the tutorial below for Windows Mail to also use to spell check with to help.

You might be thinking of Windows Live Mail instead. It has spell checking and correction on the fly as you type your email message.

That doesn't work because it doesn't recognize "adn" as a mispelled word. Therefore I cannot "add" it. Any other thoughts.--Thanks--M

You might be thinking of Windows Live Mail instead. It has spell checking and correction on the fly as you type your email message.
