I'm not sure exactly what it means, but I know how to fix it
Are you running IE? If so, can you open Internet Options, then go to the Advanced tab, then click on Reset. This will reset all internet explorer settings.
Secondly, have you got Adobe flash player installed?
Do you say that only to people who you think are newbies to the forums or say that to everybody? Please excuse me, but I've been here since April 2009.
Anyways, I don't know if I have Adobe Flash Player Installed...

Ok, in manage addons in IE8 does it say wether flash is enabled or disabled? If its disabled, just re-enable it.
If its set to enabled, could be a corrupted install, go into add/remove programs and uninstall it, then download the latest one here Adobe - Adobe Flash Player
PS Uncheck the option for google toolbar if you dont want it
