Why IE 11? If we follow the Windows trend of failure, success, failure, success, we will have another disaster on our hands with that version!yea, wait for IE 11![]()
by all accounts the windows vista home basic x32 bit is that compatible?
Method 1: Make sure minimum Operating System requirements are met
Internet Explorer 9 has a minimum requirement for the following Operating Systems:
Windows Vista (x86 and x64) with Service Pack 2 (SP 2) or later versions
Windows 7 (x86 and x64) or later versions
Windows Server 2008 (x86 and x64) with Service Pack 2 (SP 2) or later versions
Windows Server 2008 R2 x64 or later versions
If you are running Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008 less than Service Pack 2, install the latest Service Pack.
trying the download again now![]()
no did not work i will leave it now but will try it on my 64 bit windows 7 when at homethanks for your help

Oh shoot! IE9 has completely messed up my screen and everything. I am stuck in some very small resolution, but apparently I am in my normal resolution. What a massive mess Microsoft have made of IE9. In all seriousness, I would wait a couple of weeks.![]()
