mozilla firefox wont load certain pages...

hi vista forums, today, when i opened my pc, i tried going on google. but it doesn't load, it just keeps loading.. this also happens to youtube , other pages work fine, for example, this does! bbc, facebok etc.. but certain ones wont open for me?!
could this be some sort of virus? or hijacked network?

please reply as soon as possible, i need google to look up some stuff for my geography homework!:mad:
