I have Vista Home Premium w/all updates. I have IE8 64bit browser. How do I obtain the 32 bit browser? Thought that I had it when I first got my laptop, but now it is no where to be found. C:\Program Files (x86)\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe is not found on my computer.
Where to find/obtain 32bit IE8

Type internet explorer
You should see 3
One is 64
One is 32
The other says without add-ons
Do you see this, if so you are all set.

Only have two. Internet Explorer which when opened is 64 bit, and the other one without add ons.

Try this go to search by the start button
Type turn windows features on and off.
Then uncheck IE
Turn off computer
Boot and turn on IE and see fit 32bit is there.
We can reinstall if nothing else works.

Typing "turn windows features on and off" in the search box doesn't do anything to get to your next step.

After typing, that you have to click on it when it comes up and then untick IE. Did you do all that?

I went to Microsoft Technical Support site and went on line chat with a technician. Shared control of my computer and the tech found some bad files. Fixed it so I now have the 32 bit IE8.
