Importing from WindowsMail

I've been trying for weeks to do this - no luck.

I imported the ImportExport AddOn recomended on various sites.. but nothing works.

I've tried it in Vista and 7, but no luck.

Can anyone let me know what to do?

When I use ImportExport software it says 'No Mailboxes were found'.

If I choose 'All' then it just gets stuck and freezes half way through.

Any help apprecaited

To help us answer, you are importing from where and importing to what?

Which OS? Which mail client?

Are you using the import export of your current email client. If so which one?

Sorry..

I've tried using Vista and 7.

I finally managed to import to Thunderbird from Vista WindowsMail, but now can't find the messages.

I know they're there, becasue when I do a search the imported messages can be found.

But when I go to Thunderbird they can't be found.

I've searched all the boxes, and the boxes saying Imported Files, but nothing can be found.

Any help apprecaited.

Not familiar with Thunderbird, but if it is the same as Windows Mail, in the pane that shows: inbox, sent, delete, etc, at the bottom of that tree there is a folder called archives. All the transferred mail is there. It has to be somewhat similiar in Thunderbird.
