I have read a lot of forums on here and on other sites (Adobe for one). I have yet to see a resolution. PLEASE HELP! MY IE is closing down too much to bear any more.
I have a Vista 64 bit OS, and I use IE 7 (using the 32bit IE) and I can't use IE without it closing and restarting all the time. From experimenting and reading lots of forums, it is obvious that Adobe Flash Player and Vista just don't work together. It is Vista because I have friends that use other OS and IE 7 and they are not having the problems I have. Whats happening is ... when I am using IE, flash works but all of sudden my IE will close and restart. So clearly using the Flash player as the issue.
And yes, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe a few times now.
I have also disabled the adobe flash add-on but most sites now a days want you to have that, so you need it. (and forget playing games on FB, like Farmville or Yoville or Cafe World, it will close down on you).
I've seen forums where (a supposed "google employee") stated that if you download some link from some Japaneese site that will solve the problem. But with today's virus's and malware who would do that?
I've also read that this whole problem has to do with a sound card, or some registration key, or start up items (ie wireless assistant).
There are so many things out there. I just need the bottom line... from Vista please! and my question is... Is there a way to use flash player on your 64 bit system? If not, are we supposed to just wait until Adobe comes out with a compatible version? Or is there a work around?
I've heard that this happens in all internet applications (Firefox, google chrome). So
its not and IE problem. It seems to be clear that this is a Vista 64 bit
OS and Adobe Flash Player issue. PLEASE help! I need flash!
Thank you!
