This happands all the time and when i try to close it, it opens another internet explorer and happands again. The only way i can get it to close is with task manager. I have ran virus scans with avg and nothing. Can some one please help.

Go to Tools-> Manage Add ons and disable some Add-ons one by one and see whether that helps solve your problem.
