didn't know where else 2 put this ?

I didn't know where else to post this.

I'm using vista x64 ultimate. I love the fact that when I use 64-bit Internet Explorer websites cannot install anything without my permission.

I do not like the old 32-bit Internet Explorer, (i used firefox), but now 64-bit internet explorer.

I have webpages on my harddrive which I need to open before I get on the net, so I right click > open with Internet Explorer but vista has TWO Internet Explorer's and it uses the 32-bit, and I want the 64-bit browser.

I did a reg hack and put "x64" in the title bar of the 64-bit internet explorer to make sure I was using the 64-bit browser and that hack showed-up in both browsers. I was going to uninstall the 32-bit browser but I see I can't do that without messing with 64-bit internet explorer.

I set the 64-bit IE as the default but it still uses the the 32-bit browser.

Anyone have an idea how to disable the the 32-bit browser.

Did you realise that you have three IE's listed on your system?
Start - Search - type in 'Internet Explorer' and you should see IE 64-BIT, IE & IE no add ons.
As far as I'm aware you can't disable IE 32-bit.

Oh well,

I went back to Firefox 3.0.5. Adobe won't get on the ball and make flash for 64-bit IE.

I installed flash in the 32bit IE to see if that would play with IE64 but it didn't.
