Windows Mail blocking sites

All of the sudden my computer will not let me access website from an email. This is not just windows mail but my hotmail account. When I click on the email on hotmail it does nothing but in windows mail it says httpblocked and I need to go to control panel and find an association to open with. Please advise....:cry:

Welcome to the forums.

Start button/Control Panel/Programs/Set your default programs. Select your perferred browser and select 'set this program as default'. Click OK. See if that works.

I did this and it still doesn't work. I could click on the http showing where this thread was located and it opened but some others won't open. For example, a walmart email where I can click inside the ad to see something and it says blocked, or the link below was in an email and it is blocked.
