google, which has gone from trendy outsider competitor to the previous dark empire Microsoft, to world's most intrusive big brother data miner in a few short years, now has a "cookie opt out plug in" for IE and FF. the purpose of this according to google is to permanently block doubleclick advertising cookies on your browser. This plug in allegedly will not be erased when you clear your cookies.
anybody on the forum use this allegedly permanent cookie blocker thing? Will it protect from the latest marketing strategy which is posting an advertisement in the middle of the page that follows your cursor around as you navigate up and down the page?
