Remove former friend's email address

Can anyone give me directions to remove a former friend's email address from my address bar. Whenever I create a message to someone with an address starting with the same first letter, his email address also shows up. I've spent alot of time
with Sony's online help, but they're very little help.

Thanks for your help, but I got as far as HKEY_ CURRENT_USER
in the Registry editor. A list unlike the one in the directions that
you sent me came up. appevents, console, environment etc.
No Recently Used addresses

Mike,

Have you already deleted his contact from the C:\Users\(user name)\Contacts folder?

If yes, then Windows Mail will only keep the last 20 or so listed in Autocomplete. As you use more addresses the older ones should drop off automatically. So it should go away on it's on after a bit anyway if you have deleted the contact.
