No toolbar windows mail

I am unable to use windows mail with Tiscali. I keep getting a message about POP 3. I have researched what I need to do to set up WM with Tiscali, but I need to use the toolbar in windows Mail. However, there is no toolbar, so could someone advise me please on how I get the toolbar to show with windows mail. Thanks

You could use the program in this tutorial to add a tray bar icon for Windows Mail.

However, you might consider Windows Live Mail instead. It supports Pop3, IMAP, HTTP website (EX: Hotmail) email, and is a lot more stable. Plus, WLM will minimize to a built-in tray bar icon, checks spelling as you type messages, and has a separate Inbox for each email account. WLM will automatically import Windows Mail messages, accounts, and settings into it. Contacts will have to be manually imported from within WLM. (Tools, Contacts, File, Import, Address book for current Windows User.) To see the Menu bar, press ALT+M and check "Show all menus".

Thank you for your response. I have 2 problems, firstly, when I try to send an email via Windows Live Mail, I receive the following message:
Unable to send or receive messages for the Tiscali account. The host 'Tiscali' could not be found. Please verify that you have entered the server name correctly.
Server: 'Tiscali'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC0D
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No
Socket Error: 11001.
Secondly, to configure WLM to work with Tiscali, I need to use the Tools option in the toolbar, but there is no toolbar. Maybe you can help me further. Thanks. (I have tried alt and m, but nothing happened).

While on WLM, press ALT+M and check "Show all menus". This will add the toolbar menu for Tools. :)

Hope you get your email account settings sorted.
