Why do my downloads always hang?? I have had this for years on different computers, operating systems and internet connections. I'm currently using Charter high-speed,
running at close to 5 mb and a big download like the Win 7 beta stops and times out at about 17%. It will let me start it over one time and it takes off where it left off. But the second time, it starts over again. Sometimes a DL will get to 97% and go no further. Frustrating. Back in the dialup days it was our init-string. Now, who knows?
It does this with Firefox or IE7, no matter which. Of course I'm using IE7 for the Win 7
like I found out on here.
