I'm running Vista Home Edition and using Windows Internet Exployer for email. When receiving emails, some of the time, the pictures do not come through. The dreaded red X appears and I can't get the pictures to appear. Under the Tools, Options, and Security tabs I do not have a line that enables/disables pictures. What can I do to solve this problem?

These images are not being downloaded from your email provider. They may be being removed as part of the Servers anti-virus or anti-spam protection, or because of some internal policy. Check with your email provider. The problem is not in Vista.
