My Grandad recentley bought a Toshiba Satellite Pro, which came with Wireless Network Capabilities and Windows Vista, for a few months the laptop worked perfectley and ran IE, Firefox, WLM etc. with no problems whatsover.
I came over to visit my Grandad this weekend, and found that his laptop no longer connects to the internet properley (and he assures me he hasn't changed any settings). Weridley though it STILL connects to the Messenger Service used by WLM and I can still send and recieve IM's, yet I cannot surf the web (which is odd because as far as I know from client programming, WLM partly uses HTTP Protocol)
.
When I 'Diagnose Connection Problems' This is what I get
I googled this and came up with no worthwhile results, all your help would be GREATLY appreciated (for it is frustrating for me as well as him), thanks
Additionally, Windows Firewall is turned off, and AVG is being used.
