ActiveX Control will not install in Internet Explorer

My computer won't install ActiveX Control on Internet Explorer. Any suggestions?

Is there a option for Prompt instead of Enable in the Internert Properties, Security tab, Custom level button for Internet zone (top).

Yes. I did enable because when I clicked Install ActiveX Control, it wouldn't install it, so I couldn't do what I wanted to do (I want to run an online scan). But when I enabled "Download signed ActiveX controls" I could run the scan. I was wondering why I am not able to download ActiveX control using prompt but when I enable it, it downloads.

Could be somthing like a bad add-on interfering with it. Try the ActiveX download with Option One in the tutorial below to see if you have the same problem. If not, then follow the rest of the tutorial to find out which add-on is the problem.
